1964 "CONSTELLATION" US DEFENDER 1/35
Amati
Constellation was designed by Olin J. Stephens, who had already designed America’s Cup winners such as the “J” Class Ranger (1937) and the Twelve Metre Class Columbia (1958). Constellation had a wooden hull and an overall sail area of around 1690 square metres. Skipper R.N. Bavier led Constellation to victory over Sovereign, the British contender. The kit comes with ready-built polyurethane or wooden hull."
