Fiat 500F 1/24
Tamiya welcomes an updated re-issue of Item 24169 1/24 Fiat 500F (originally sold in 2011) with updated decals, instruction manual and masking stickers. With its adorable design, the classic Fiat 500 provided a lively, sporty drive.
Adorable looks and an extremely nimble drive are just two of the reasons behind the massive popularity enjoyed by the Fiat 500, which was adopted by many residents of Italy as their daily run-around. The second generation of the car was manufactured between 1957 and 1975. Measuring in at less than three meters, this rear-wheel drive car"s 500cc 2-cylinder engine was housed in the back; it could just about hold four people in its rather spartan interior. The 500F was first sold in 1965 and was updated with front-hinged doors and larger tail lamps. The Fiat 500 would of course become a worldwide hit, and even evolved into a third generation model in 2007.
Its body was less than 3 meters long and it employed a 500cc 2-cylinder air-cooled engine at the rear. This 4-seater car made its debut in 1957, and with ongoing improvements, its production continued until 1975.
This car is still popular among fans the world over, and this year, this car appears in the movie “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One"
